Prior to becoming a solicitor, Alice had a career in HR, where she gained invaluable insights into the challenges businesses face when managing people and processes. This experience has shaped her empathetic and solutions-focused approach to supporting clients, giving her a unique ability to understand both legal and operational perspectives.

Drawing on her experience as both an in-house lawyer and private practice solicitor, Alice understands the unique challenges in-house teams face. These frustrations inspired her to create Plume, bridging the gap between legal expertise and real-world business demands.

Alice is known for her straight-talking, no-nonsense approach and her ability to think creatively to deliver real value to clients. In addition to supporting clients with employment and commercial matters, she oversees the firm’s strategic direction, sales, marketing, and service delivery, ensuring exceptional client outcomes.

Her entrepreneurial spirit, dedication to our clients, and commitment to transforming the legal landscape make her a driving force behind Plume’s success.

Alice is also a TEDx speaker and the author of (Out)Law: From Teenage Mum to Legal Trailblazer.

When she’s not working or advocating for a more inclusive and forward-thinking legal profession, she’s hanging out with her family and keeping active at the local Crossfit gym.
